About me
We are shaped long before we realize how much of us has already been shaped.

My questions:

How much of what we call “ourselves” is really our own?

Education and the society we live in shape who we are. They give us language, rules and ways of understanding the world. But they also limit us. As a result, many possibilities disappear before we even notice them.
Human beings have developed extraordinary technologies. We are now powerful enough to transform the world and even destroy ourselves, but our social and moral development may not have advanced at the same speed.
The individual may gradually become weaker inside increasingly powerful systems.
The social issues discussed here—education, migration, technology, culture and inequality—are only starting points.
This is not nostalgia, and I am not trying to change the world. I simply want to understand it more clearly, using evidence, research and careful reflection.
Perhaps understanding creates a little more possibility.
